Our story stems from the desire to raise awareness about the importance of making healthier choices for menstrual hygiene, to highlight the consequences of long-term use of conventional menstrual products, to educate our girls, young women, and women so that they know how to choose products that will not compromise their health, while also drawing attention to the ecological aspects and the significant impact menstrual products have on environmental pollution.

Be gentle with yourself

"Be gentle with yourself" is the slogan that guides us, and our goal is for it to become yours too. Menstrual hygiene products don’t have to contain any harmful chemicals typical of plastic-based products. If they contain cotton, usually in the top layer of pads, it doesn’t have to be grown with the use of pesticides, herbicides, or artificial fertilizers. They don’t need to be bleached with chlorine, which produces carcinogenic dioxins. They don’t need to be artificially colored or scented.

The skin in the intimate area is very thin, sensitive, and quickly absorbs substances, so constant and long-term exposure to harmful chemicals can cause discomfort such as redness, irritation, allergies, affect hormones and reproductive health, and even lead to more serious illnesses. That’s why we believe it’s important to talk about this and, whenever possible, choose healthier menstrual products.

Love for Nature

Our story wouldn’t be complete without mentioning how much we love nature and how much we strive to contribute to its preservation in our daily routines. We separate waste for recycling, always carry a tote bag and reusable bags for fruits and vegetables, buy natural cosmetics from local producers, and whenever we visit a park, we pick up a few bottle caps that are always found around the benches 😊

We always support and strive to offer solutions that are better for both our health and nature. Everything has a better alternative; it just needs to be found and incorporated into daily life.

This is why Pure was created—a brand that unites love for the body and nature, because neither can be replaced. Through offering healthier products, we aim to improve the quality of menstrual hygiene from the first to the last period, as well as for mothers during the postpartum period.
